Holy person Columb’s Cathedral, was the first Cathedral manufactured after the Reformation. It is the city’s most noteworthy building containing showcases of ancient rarities from the Siege, a fine gathering of silver Communion plate, and in addition data on popular identities, e.g. Cecil Francis Alexander (the universally prestigious psalm author), the Earl Bishop and the savant George Berkeley. A show of facsimilies of the Book of Kells was as of late opened. It is committed to the name of St. Columba (Columb),the Ulster friar who set up a Christian settlement here in the 6th century.
