Royal Shakespeare Theatre is a theatre with over 1000 seats, owned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and dedicated poet and playwright William Shakespeare English. The theatre is located in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s home-town. Royal Shakespeare Theatre reopened in November 2010 after it went through a major renovation. The theatre opened on April 23, 1932 Shakespeare Memorial Theatre on the adjacent site, opened on 19 April 1979 which was destroyed in a fire occurred on 6 March 1926. Architect was Elisabeth Scott, so the theatre was the first important building designed by a woman architect in England.
