New Forest Wildlife Park in Southampton, UK, covers an area of 25 hectares of land. It is located in the New Forest, considered the heritage and the 2005 is a protected natural park. The area was originally the hunting of deer to King William I. He introduced the “Forest Law”, a law that prevents citizens to do something that would have hampered the hunting the deer. It forbade them to convert agricultural land in the area, to raise fences or to place barriers. Instead, he gave the right to graze their livestock in the forest. Today, the picture is totally unique. Semi-feral ponies, donkeys and pigs still run through the woods with wild species of deer, resulting in a special fauna.
