Hannaford Supermarkets started in 1883 when Artur Hannaford took an one-steed truck to the waterfront of Portland, ME to offer quality produce. Under 20 years after the fact, in 1902, with the assistance of his siblings Howard and Edward, Arthur opened Hannaford Bros. Co. By 1939, Hannaford bought HS Melcher Co., who ran Red and White Stores in Maine. This buy opened Hannaford’s ways to the universe of wholesale basic need. Hannaford came to Londonderry, NH in around 2004. The store is situated at 6 Hampton Drive.
